Synopsis
Baletin maailmassa jopa julma ja epäasiallinen naisen vartalon arvostelu on hyväksyttyä. Videossa nainen toistaa yksinkertaista balettisarjaa. Hän ei ole tanssija, ja vaikka hän yrittää kuinka kovasti, lopputulos ei näytä hyvältä. Opettaja antaa palautetta.
Synopsis in English
"The Lesson" is dealing with cruelty and the use of power directed towards the physical attributes of a woman (i.e. the body). In the video the artist herself is performing simple ballet movements. She wanted to examine, how does it feel to get rude and humiliating response and not to be able to reach the ideal, no matter how hard she is trying.
